Rome wasn't built in a day, and the formative years of a great potter cannot be compressed into an overnight course. It takes years of experience and endeavour, plus the essential technical 'know-how' to distil a native talent into the ability to produce beautiful artifacts.
Such a person is Suzanne Cohen, and Shapps & Coutts take great pleasure in introducing her to a wider public. Each piece is unique, everyone an original (not mass-produced in china!) so that your home will be graced with a work of art that remains truly functional.
Our potter Suzanne Cohen will also make pieces to individual order and be pleased to discuss requirements for any ideas that you may have in mind. She will work from simple bowls to totem poles.
